Subsidiaries Camp Horizons Camp Horizons is a summer camp nestled in the Shenandoah valley few miles from Harrisonburg, Virginia. Strong emphasis is placed on the development of people skills, which promotes great rapport between staff, counselors and campers. Staff members are the source of Camp Horizons' strength. Our Staff come to us from college and university programs throughout the world. Our staff are selected for their commitment to creating a positive experience for each child who comes to Camp Horizons. Camp Horizons also provides youth programming year-round through its Outdoor Learning Center. Horizons Consulting Horizons Consulting is an organizational development firm with a dynamic twenty-year history, which grew out of innovative challenge course programming at Camp Horizons. Horizons Consulting Group creates unique, client-driven organization development programs designed to motivate, inspire, and empower people to succeed. Our engaging and results-driven facilitators provide dynamic, concrete learning experiences designed to address the unique and evolving needs of our clients. Horizons Consulting uses the Mountain Valley Retreat and Conference center as its primary training site. However, our staff can provide on-site training when needed. Horizons Youth Services Horizons Youth Services has been developing and operating many innovative youth programs since 1983, including leadership development and leadership training programs. Horizons Youth Services provides an opportunity for young people to grow and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities by focusing on the development of skills that unleash the potential in them to become productive citizens. Currently, Horizons Youth Services operates three Job Corps centers for the Department of Labor:
Shenandoah Valley Builders Shenandoah Valley Builders is situated in the foothills of the Massanutten Mountains of Virginia. Our business began by tearing down old barns and houses locally. Shenandoah Valley has evolved over the years into becoming a major provider of antique lumber, brick and stone in the area. We now sell antique yellow pine, barn beams and boards; hand hewn beams and logs, rough-cut oak, chestnut boards and others, in a wide variety of sizes as well as blue limestone.
